Position Summary

The Network Analyst will be responsible for day-to day operational support of our corporate network. This role is responsible for implementation, configuration and operations of network and security appliances. This position will need to work collaboratively with functional areas and IT partners to achieve project objectives and deliverables to ensure we provide a high-quality response to our customers. The right person for this role will be passionate about technology and providing high quality service. He / she will be open and willing to take on various tasks and requests and manage them until completion, which includes providing global support for the enterprise network which will require working outside US standard working hours. We offer a hybrid work environment with an on-premises / remote work schedule.

Accountabilities

  • Provide support to various networking products and technologies such as routing, switching, firewall management, load balancing, optimization, and security.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities and identify single points of failure / risks to the business and provide reasonable solutions to remediate the risk.
  • Monitor and analyze network and related system performance and provide reports on a regular basis identifying hotspots.
  • Perform daily ticket maintenance.
  • Actively monitor and react to real-time network conditions to quickly identify and react to issues and outages.
  • Maintain and update network infrastructure including but not limited to WAN Optimization, Wireless Controllers and Access Points, network switches, and packet tracer / analyzer software.
  • Contribute and offer support for the overall ITIL Roadmap strategy for the company.
  • Prepares and follows detailed documentation, standards, and guidelines for data, and wireless systems.
  • Take correction action to improve system performance, travel to off-site locations to perform related work as required.
  • Actively participate in strategy and business meetings as needed.
  • Participate in the 24 / 7 / 365 on-call rotation every (3) weeks.

Required Skills and Experience

  • CCNA enterprise certification; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in the following Cisco technologies :
  • ISE
  • Routers
  • WLC, Access Points
  • Catalyst, Nexus switches
  • DNA Center and Thousand Eyes Monitoring tools
  • Experience in multi-datacenter, multi-site network topologies and SD-WAN technologies
  • Proficient with networking technologies such as GLBP, HSRP, QoS, OSPF, BGP, NAT, and access lists.
  • Ability to manage polices, object groups and end user support.
  • Must have strong knowledge of common Cisco command line interface.

  • Must be able to minimize downtime by rapidly diagnosing and resolving problems.
  • Be able to track and document information regarding troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain a high level of teamwork and communication.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to perform after-hours work for scheduled maintenance and unscheduled issue resolution.
