Responsibilities Work in a cardiac sonography setting that may include both adult and complex congenital pediatric cases Day shifts are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Weekend and night shifts required, with no on-call shifts Some floating to other cardiac labs may be required Perform procedures including transesophageal echocardiograms (with or without 3D imaging), intraoperative transesophageal echocardiograms, and structural heart procedures in the cath lab Epic EMR experience preferred Position is subject to a 50-mile travel requirement; local candidates accepted at the local rate Conduct a wide range of diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures in accordance with established standards Perform and interpret advanced echocardiography, including intraoperative and transesophageal studies Role may include orienting other staff to the department Modules and e-learning are completed during orientation Return staff / travelers must be gone for at least 1 year before returning Only one holiday approved for requested time off Must be available to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing Requirements Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification (AHA or American Red Cross) Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) Minimum of 2 years’ cardiac sonography experience required State license required if applicable; must have a CA license Experience performing complex congenital pediatric echocardiograms and structural heart procedures Must provide two professional references obtained within the past year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626757.
