Job Summary : Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists are responsible for the use of radiofrequencies within a magnetic field for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes. MRI technologists perform magnetic resonance imaging and acquire and analyze data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Magnetic resonance technologists independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in the completion of magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Magnetic resonance technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy. Position Details :
Education : Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)
Experience : Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred)
Certification(s) and License(s) : Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
