Social Media Manager
As a Social Media Manager at Sonar, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing Sonars online brand, globally. This role involves managing social media platforms and employee / er branding in coordination with our communications, creative, field, web, customer marketing, community, and developer relations teams. You will play a key role in managing and enhancing our third party listings (e.g. ensuring Sonar profiles are up to date) and you will also drive internal employee engagement to help promote and build the Sonar brand.
In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive digital brand strategy aligned with overall company objectives, creating engaging content while shaping and protecting our broader online brand reputation. You will set, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure awareness, sentiment, and engagement, including competitive benchmarking and digital brand performance tracking against industry peers.

What You Will Do Daily :
- Social Media Management : Manage day-to-day social media activities, including copy and content production, recommending improvements, and managing responses to inbound comments.
- Brand Reputation : Monitor and manage Sonars online reputation to ensure consistent voice, including social listening and crisis communication efforts. Support with developing and continually refining the brand strategy (i.e. mission, values, positioning, unique value proposition).
- Market Research & Insights : Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify industry trends, customer needs, and market opportunities. Leverage these insights to inform brand development and marketing strategies.
- Content Strategy & Storytelling : Collaborate with communications, content marketing, and product marketing teams to develop a compelling content strategy that articulates Sonars value proposition through engaging stories, thought leadership, case studies, whitepapers, blogs, and other high-value assets.
- Integrated Campaign Management : Partner with demand generation, product marketing, sales, and PR teams to plan, execute, and measure integrated brand awareness and demand generation campaigns across various channels.
- Brand Performance & Analytics : Define, monitor, and analyze key brand performance metrics (e.g., brand awareness, reputation, sentiment, engagement) and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with internal teams including product management, engineering, sales, services, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand voice and message.
- Technical Communication : Possess a deep technical understanding and passion for software products and the underlying technology, enabling authentic engagement in technical discussions with developers and the creation of developer-focused content.
The Experience You Will Need :
