Associate Denim Designer
As an Associate Denim Designer at Joe's Jeans, you will play a key supporting role in the seasonal design and development process. Working under the direction of the Senior Designer, you'll help bring denim styles to lifefrom concept to final productthrough trend research, sketching, sample development, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to grow their technical and creative skills within a fast-paced, denim-focused environment.
Strategy & Innovation
- Research and identify brand-right seasonal trends and concepts
- Conduct competitive market analysis and assist in concept deck creation
- Source fabrics and trims and support in the development of CADs and presentations
- Support execution of seasonal category design within the context of the overall assortment and cost strategy
Product Design & Development
Create flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Fresco for denim garments including jeans, jackets, skirts, and shortsHelp prepare tech packs, update spec sheets, and maintain accurate product records in PLM or shared drivesSupport fabric and trim selection, wash development, and sample trackingAttend fittings and assist with fit notesOperations & Execution
Maintain design libraries, sample archives, and organizational toolsTrack development milestones to ensure on-time sample deliveryCollaborate with cross-functional partners in technical design, production, and merchandisingRelationships & Communication
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendorsSupport follow-up on sample status, fabric approvals, and wash standard hand offsWork closely with the Senior Designer to ensure design execution aligns with brand and business goalsTeam Contribution

Salary Range : $68,640-73,500
