This role ensures delivery excellence through structured planning, stakeholder alignment, and proactive risk management while maintaining a strong grasp of technical processes across Azure, data pipelines, and application ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Oversight : Partner with engineering and architecture teams on Azure cloud development, application design (.NET, Python), and API creation to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
  • Data Integration & Flow : Manage projects involving ETL processes to the Lakehouse environment (Data Bricks, Data Lake), ensuring data quality, performance, and governance throughout the pipeline.
  • Project Leadership : Oversee the full project lifecycle – from initiation through deployment – ensuring delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analytics & Reporting : Support Power BI reporting and data visualization initiatives; align requirements with business objectives and ensure timely delivery of insights.
  • Planning & Execution : Develop and maintain detailed project plans including milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation; coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent progress.
  • Governance & Risk Management : Identify risks and issues early, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain documentation across requirements, functional specs, and technical deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact between business, technology, and delivery teams; provide clear status updates, progress reports, and executive summaries.
  • Process Excellence : Champion SDLC and Agile best practices, drive continuous improvement, and promote collaboration within high-performing teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management or a similar role – functional project management alone is not sufficient to make a good fit.
  • Proven success managing Azure cloud, application development, and data integration initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, ETL pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and data security frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, JIRA, and project management tools (MS Project, Trello, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred
