Sinclair Inc. is hiring : General Assignment Reporter in Cincinnati

WKRC is looking for two take-charge General Assignment Reporters to help us continue to grow and empower our audiences! One will work with our Good Morning Cincinnati team; the other will work nightside. We are seeking motivated, energetic, creative, and aggressive reporters who can think and perform outside the box. The ideal candidates should be able to develop story ideas and gather information for newscasts, have sound writing skills, a great work ethic, and a can-do attitude. The best person for this job will have excellent live shot skills, strong researching skills, and thrives on breaking stories.

Responsibilities

• Research, and write meaningful, relevant stories for our station's newscast that will be used across multiple social and digital platforms.
• Provide news on-air as directed from the news management team.
• Engaging with local community members.
• Reviewing material for fairness, accuracy, and balance.
• Work closely with all members of the news team, including Producers, Editors, Anchors, News Directors, etc.
