Responsibilities
Associate performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely manner. He / she operates diagnostic equipment and processes images. Associate prepares patient's procedure room, equipment, supplies and medications as indicated and delivers patient services using various imaging modalities. Associate practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. He / she maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co-workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.
- Perform quality diagnostic procedures in a timely manner and operate diagnostic equipment to acquire and process images.
- Prepare patient, procedure room, equipment, supplies and medications as indicated.
- Follow proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and coworkers.
- Contribute to achievement of departmental and hospital goals.
Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate state licensure and National Registry(s).Must be registered / eligible by ARRT(R). If other modalities (e.g., CT) are performed and the associate does not hold advanced certification for those modalities, obtain within 6 months of hire / promotion or completion of training program.Must possess MRT from Texas Medical Board.BLS certification from an HCA approved vendor.Previous experience strongly preferred.Benefits
