Staff Software Engineer, Android

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Android to take ownership of their Android app across all phases of product development.

Key Responsibilities

Own Android technical strategy & delivery, including architecture and modularization

Collaborate with product and design teams to define requirements and deliver new features

Mentor engineers and enforce Android development standards for quality and security

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in owning Android architecture and multi-team delivery for consumer apps

Deep knowledge of modern Android development including Kotlin, Compose, and MVVM architecture

Experience with testing frameworks and operational excellence in instrumentation and observability

Hands-on experience with Android CI / CD, Gradle, and Google Play releases

Strong GraphQL experience on Android and familiarity with backend-for-frontend design
