Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) is at the beginning of a long path toward building a diverse, equitable, accessible and inclusive (DEAI) institution. To do so we are acknowledging our current search for individuals, at all levels of the institution, who are interested in joining us on this journey of intentionality and public accountability. This path impacts our workforce (board, staff, volunteers), artist selection and acquisition, as well reassessing current internal and external communication systems, networks and norms.

Role Overview
The Museum Educators lead and facilitate a range of programs including team-building workshops, PreK–12 workshops (onsite and offsite), studio art experiences, guided tours, and other offerings for both youth and adult audiences. These programs integrate art making, wellness, and horticulture, and are designed to engage schools, teachers, families, and private and corporate groups.
Serving as an ambassador, the Museum Educator is a key point of contact for visiting groups. They are expected to deliver inclusive, welcoming, and meaningful experiences that encourage creativity, observation, experimentation, and reflection, while being responsive to the diverse needs and interests of participants.
The Museum Educator reports to the Manager of School and Group Visits and works collaboratively across the Education Department and with staff across the museum to support shared goals and uphold a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration.
