Job Summary :
VSolvit is hiring a Software Engineer to implement features and deliver high-quality solutions for DoD applications. Engineers will develop user stories, write associated tests, and support Agile development cycles with a strong focus on collaboration and quality.
As an Engineer, you will work with modern development frameworks, cloud environments, and DevSecOps pipelines to build scalable, secure systems.

Responsibilities :
- Implement stories from backlog using Angular, React, Java, and other tools
- Apply Test-Driven Development and pair programming in XP framework
- Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines (Git, Tanzu)
- Support database development with MySQL 8.0
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous integration cycles
- Document implementation in Confluence
- Manage and optimize container pipelines within Tanzu
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address POA&M requirements
- Support networking tasks (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP / IP, DNS, SFTP)
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field3+ years of software development experienceExperience with Agile development (Scrum / XP / Lean)Strong understanding of cloud architecture and DevSecOpsFamiliarity with Jira and ConfluenceU.S. Citizenship requiredIf applicable : If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offeredAbility to obtain DoD SECRET ClearancePreferred Qualifications :
