About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

License : Must have a valid DC license in hand prior to start date; pending licenses accepted for submission

Certifications : BCLS Required; ACLS Preferred

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience in Operating Room
• Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse.

The candidate will be responsible for providing care in the operating room.

The role requires proficiency in general OR, bariatrics, ENT, neurology, orthopedic, and urology procedures.

The nurse will assist in various surgical procedures including total joints, spine surgeries, craniotomies, and free flaps.

Special skills in cyto reduction and ENT / OMF are also needed.

The nurse will participate in a weekend shift requirement of one shift per six-week schedule.

Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels is required.

No call requirements are expected as part of the schedule.

The daily census includes a variety of adult and geriatric patients.

Interdisciplinary support will be available throughout the shifts.

Overall, the role requires a team-oriented approach to patient care and collaboration.
