Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – School-Based Role

Location : Massapequa, Long Island, NY | Nassau County

Compensation : $25.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on experience and certification level)

Schedule : Full-time or Part-time | Follows the full school-day schedule (coverage role available)

Setting : Public and private school environments – elementary, middle, and high school

Role Responsibilities

Deliver individualized ABA therapy and behavioral support throughout the school day under the direction of a BCBA.

Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans aligned with each student's learning goals.

Record accurate data on behavior and progress.

Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors to promote student success.

Maintain documentation consistent with school and insurance standards.

Participate in professional development and ongoing training sessions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (required)

RBT certification preferred (not required)

Prior school-based or special education experience (required)

Minimum of 2 years of ABA experience preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities

Availability for full school-day schedule or flexible coverage hours

Reliable transportation to assigned school sites
