The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts within the Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) area. In this role, the selected candidate will be a member of a team engaging in complex situations and be asked to find creative solutions to support the U.S. Army's Enduring Indirect Fire Protection Capability (E-IFPC) system. This role will provide opportunities to work in a number of interesting contractual situations on a program that has growth potential in the $Bs as it quickly transitions from prototype development into production. The immediate opportunities include :

• Execution matters on an active Other Transaction Authority (OTA);
• Bidding and negotiating a five year production IDIQ that transitions the IFPC Program to a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) based program
• Bidding and negotiating Foreign Military Sales (FMS) opportunities

The successful candidate's attributes should include but are not limited to strong experience with FAR / DFARS / Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) terms and conditions risk assessment and negotiations, understanding the implications of international work, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, subject matter expertise in general contracting, and be able to provide contractual and business guidance to the Program Management Leadership.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
