Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT

Currently looking for qualified Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) to fill full-time,13-week contract openings in Muncie. Interested candidates must have 3 years of previous experience as a RRT in an adult ICU setting. Night shift and Day shift available, with a pay rate of $46 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT

  • Evaluate, treat, and care for patients who have breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Patient assessment and evaluation.
  • Safe and effective administration of respiratory therapy treatments.
  • Complete patient documentation.

    • Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT

  • 3 years of experience in an Adult ICU setting
  • BLS required
  • Weekend rotation required as needed
  • Must be able to work effectively independently, yet work together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
  • Required skills include Airway management, Medication administration, Vent management, ABGs, 02 Therapy, Suction, Pulmonary toileting, Nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP

    • Candidates with the following skills are preferred :

  • Trauma, Teaching hospital, ER Settings
  • Respiratory Care : Bronchoscopes
  • Documentation Systems : Cerner
  • Equipment : Hamilton G5, Philips V60
