Job Summary

This position is responsible for supervising the other departments, making sure the employees’ time is entered correctly and that productions needs are met for every department under you.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Help manage the workflow of the department’s employees, communicate schedules and delegate tasks, ensuring all activities are performed safely, meeting quality and regulatory guidelines
• Assessing the work performance of their employees and identifying areas that need improvement
• Counsel and coach associates when necessary, including facilitating conflict resolution
• Training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles
• Recommend new employees to the department head based on an assessment of their performance
• Conduct performance records and evaluations
• Clearly communicating through messages and daily meetings / team huddles
• Aid in inventory of manufactured parts and consumable materials
• Communicate important issues and concerns to operations manager on a timely basis and always proactively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Physical Requirements

o Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time

o Constant and repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and wrists
