About the Role
We’re looking for a Manager of Application Development who can lead by example—balancing technical leadership with hands-on coding. In this player / coach role, you’ll mentor developers, guide architecture, and contribute directly to building scalable Java applications and database solutions. What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers in an Agile environment.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Java applications and database solutions.
- Contribute directly as a development lead—writing, reviewing, and optimizing code.
- Manage the full application development lifecycle with a focus on quality and timeliness.
- Oversee release management, including deployments, version control, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Support teams to deliver complete solutions.
- Champion best practices in source control, testing, and documentation.
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to improve team performance.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of software development experience (Java + SQL databases).2+ years of leadership experience guiding technical teams.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployments.Strong Agile methodology expertise, including sprint planning and velocity tracking.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.Bonus : Experience in healthcare or financial software.Why Join Us
