Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of janitorial staff.
• Train new custodial team members on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., floor buffers, carpet cleaners).
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs or maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing, supplies, and facility needs.
