CNA School Aide

Salary : $25 / Hour

The CNA School Aide provides support services in varioussettings, including one-on-one, classroom support, and health officeclinics. Services may includeinstructional support, personal care, behavioral assistance, and basic healthservices in the health clinic. This individual works under the supervision ofthe district school nurse or a clinical designee.

Minimum Requirements :

Current Certified Nursing Assistant required bystate / contract / or client, required

Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Modality : CNA License

Grade Level :

Middle School (6th-8th grade)

Caseload Details :

a multi-need classroom. Responsibilities would include supporting students academically, changing students, oral feedings, lifting and transferring students. Staff member would work under the classroom teacher and school nurse.
