Facility : Teaching hospital, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – LAC Resource Team

Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract

Start Dates : 11 / 17 / 2025 or 12 / 1 / 2025

End Date : 2 / 16 / 2026

Duration : 13-week assignment

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 36

Orientation : Every other Monday

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Virginia or Compact RN License required

Minimum 2-3 years of recent ICU nursing experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale

Experience in a teaching hospital setting preferred

Charge nurse and Cerner EMR experience preferred

ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU

Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Mentor and support nursing students and new hires in a teaching hospital environment

Float to other hospital units as needed (travel nurses float first)

Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR (preferred)

Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
