Job Summary :
As a Designated Coordinator, you will oversee program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities include ensuring each individual receives guidance, support, and safety, advocating for their health and wellness needs, promoting independence, and monitoring medication administration. You will also maintain individual plans, financial records, and supervise Direct Support Professionals, providing training and evaluation. Additional duties include managing accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting, as well as developing relationships with community stakeholders. The role generally follows a Monday-Friday schedule, with availability for emergencies as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Human Services-related field + 1 year of full-time experience providing direct care to persons with disabilities or seniors;
OR an Associate's degree + 2 years of experience;
OR a diploma + 3 years of experience;
OR at least 50 hours of relevant education + 4 years of experience under supervision;
For managing an ICF / MR program, a bachelor's degree with QDDP designation is required;
Driver's license, CPR, First Aid, and medication training (post-hire) are required;
Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership;
Background checks including BCA clearance and MVR with a satisfactory driving record are required.
40% FTE or greater;
Up-to-date training and good employment standing;
Work all scheduled shifts.
