Your Role
We are looking for a talented preservation architect to join our team. Preservation Architects are fully integrated into project teams from conceptual design through construction administration. They are expected to exhibit confidence and a strong collaborative attitude. Flexibility, initiative, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude are important qualities we look for. Candidates must exhibit a strong graphic sensibility, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
- Fully integrated into project teams from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties and maintain a strong graphic sensibility.
- Apply the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and coordinate state and federal historic tax credit applications.
- Conduct building assessments on significant projects and develop preservation specifications from conceptual designs to detailed documents.
Qualifications
Education : Professional degree in architecture required; advanced degree or certificate in preservation preferred.Experience : 6 or more years of related work experienceLicensure : Preferred but not requiredProficiency in Autodesk RevitAdditional Requirements
Ability to coordinate small projects and manage small project teams as a Project Manager, Project Architect, or Construction Administrator, as scheduled.Solid knowledge of historic preservation and historic materials.Why you'll love working here
