Facilities & Inventory Control Manager
We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Facilities & Inventory Control Manager to lead our inventory control & replenishment operations, and material handling processes. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Planning & Replenishment : Lead the development of inventory plans, ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time, and manage replenishment strategies to support sales and seasonal needs.
- Inventory Accuracy & Integrity : Develop a cycle count schedule and monitor the compliance of the schedule. Oversee regular cycle counts and audits, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with various departments, including Production, Fulfillment, Purchasing, and IT, to streamline product flow and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- SOP Development & Improvement : Create and refine standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency, maintain consistency, and ensure high-quality standards across all inventory management activities.
- System & Data Management : Optimize inventory management systems, ensure data accuracy, and provide training to system users to maximize platform performance.
- KPIs & Reporting : Monitor and report on key performance indicators, leveraging data insights to guide operational improvements.
- Warehouse Safety & Organization : Uphold OSHA safety standards and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and operational effectiveness of warehouse spaces.
- Space & Capacity Planning : Manage warehouse layout space optimization and pick paths to accommodate growth, seasonal variations, and changing product needs.
- Budget & Cost Control : Oversee budgets related to inventory handling, staffing, and receiving operations, while implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Development : Lead and develop a high-performing team across two warehouse locations, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
Inventory & Receiving Expertise : Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, replenishment strategies.Systems & Data Proficiency : Expertise with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms. Ability to analyze data and track KPIs to drive operational improvements. Must be an advanced Microsoft Excel user.Leadership & Team Development : Proven leadership abilities with experience in coaching, setting expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability.Process Improvement & Operational Planning : Skilled in developing SOPs, process optimization, space planning, and seasonal readiness.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.Safety, Compliance & Budget Awareness : In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and budget management.Problem Solving & Adaptability : Strong critical thinking abilities to resolve issues, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.This position requires working some nights.
