job_description.job_card.job_descriptionIndependently conduct all vascular testing, including reflux studies, visceral examinations, and various ultrasound exams. Perform patient assessments, including documentation of medical history and presenting symptoms. Execute vascular testing at multiple on-site locations and transport necessary equipment. Collect and document data accurately while ensuring adherence to lab protocols. Report findings of diagnostic tests expediently to physicians and other healthcare staff. Maintain care and cleanliness of equipment and report malfunctions when necessary. Engage in continuous education to maintain credentials and skills. Deliver a safe and positive patient experience while working collaboratively with others. Associate's degree in Sonography in Vascular Technology with RVT or RVS Certification, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a general or vascular ultrasound department. Proficiency in performing vascular studies as listed in job details. The Registered Vascular Technologist II performs a variety of non-invasive diagnostic tests to detect vascular disease and reports findings to medical staff. This role requires conducting clinical assessments of patients and providing basic patient care during testing.
