Resource Innovations  is seeking a Senior Strategic Human Resources Business Partner - Corporate Functions  to join our growing team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic HR Business Partner Senior Manager with a strong background in HR Business Partnering to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Strategic Human Resources Business Partner - Corporate Functions, you will play a critical leadership role in aligning people strategies with business objectives across core corporate functions including Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Client Services and other enabling teams. As a trusted advisor to senior corporate leaders, this role is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce planning, and cultural alignment. The HRBP will lead strategic initiatives that enhance team capability, support change management, and enable the achievement of enterprise goals through proactive and data-driven HR support. Position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to executive leaders across corporate functions, translating business objectives into aligned people strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with functional leaders to understand operational priorities and proactively address organizational and talent needs.
  • Provide guidance on organizational design, talent development, and strategic workforce planning to support growth and scalability of corporate teams.

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Lead talent planning initiatives to ensure corporate functions have the right capabilities and leadership to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies that align with functional objectives and succession planning.
  • Use workforce analytics and insights to inform hiring, retention, and development plans.
  • Organizational Design & Effectiveness

  • Drive organizational design efforts to improve functional efficiency, decision-making, and collaboration across teams.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize role clarity, structure, and reporting alignment in corporate functions.
  • Assess and enhance organizational capabilities through targeted interventions and functional capability mapping.
  • Change Management & Culture

  • Lead change management strategies in support of transformation, process redesign, systems implementation, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture across corporate functions.
  • Support the integration of corporate values into team behaviors and leadership practices.
  • Leadership Coaching & Development

  • Provide strategic coaching and development support to corporate function leaders and high-potential talent.
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team to create and implement leadership development initiatives tailored to corporate functions.
  • Guide leaders in building inclusive, high-performing teams and succession pipelines.
  • Performance & Rewards

  • Support the annual performance management process including calibration, development planning, and feedback cycles.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards to ensure internal equity and alignment of compensation structures with corporate roles and market benchmarks.
  • Advise on performance improvement strategies and development pathways for underperforming or high-potential talent.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters across corporate teams, including complex investigations, disciplinary processes, and case resolution.
  • Lead and document sensitive and high-impact ER cases in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Employee Relations teams.
  • Ensure corporate functions operate in compliance with employment laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Monitor ER trends, identify root causes, and recommend proactive strategies to foster a positive employee experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and / or master’s degree in human resources, MBA, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership role.
  • Experience supporting corporate functions and teams, preferably in energy efficiency, sustainability or SaaS environments
  • Familiarity with modern HR systems (e.g., Workday / Oracle, ServiceNow)
  • Demonstrated success in supporting organizations through rapid growth, transformation, or M&A integration.
  • Deep knowledge of core HR disciplines including talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and rewards
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment
  • Preferred skills, education and experience

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) or Organizational Development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional change and culture initiatives.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000.  In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.  Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.

    We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits.
