Student Nurses at UH Samaritan Medical Center are hired into the Float Pool to expand exposure and broaden experience to various types of units.

What can I do as a NAII?
\n
NA IIs work under the direction of an RN to provide safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and / or sustain optimal health status. Responsibilities include :
\n \n
- Direct patient care delivery, including, but not limited to :
\n \n
ADLs / hygiene, Vital signs, I&O, Bladder scanning, EKG, Glucometer & other point of care testing (where applicable) and Restraints
