Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is a not-for-profit statewide law firm that pursues its mission of Combating Injustice
NJP seeks applications from qualified attorneys committed to supporting our mission in southwest Washington. This is a regular full-time position covered by NJP's collective bargaining agreement. This position is funded for up to one year from the start date, or until December 31, 2026, whichever comes first.
Position details
The Staff Attorney will work out of NJP's Olympia office and will primarily serve Thurston, Mason, and Lewis counties although coverage may be required in surrounding areas or statewide (through remote appearances or travel if necessary).
The primary area of practice is housing, including work with our fast-paced, appointed counsel eviction defense program and with the field office team.

Compensation and benefits
Starting salary is based upon years of experience, with an annual salary range of $83,548 to $146,692. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes 100% paid employee health premiums and significant premium shares for family health premiums, as well as generous time off.
