Our most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team and we are looking for highly talented individuals, like yourself, with a passion for RADAR and Electronic Warfare Technology. We provide surface, air, and undersea solutions, including radar and surveillance systems, undersea combat systems, and surface combat systems and sensors.

The Work

Our Ground Based and Multi-Mission Air Defense Engineering Organization within Sensors and Effectors Integrated Engineering is seeking a candidate who will have the following responsibilities :

• General : Functional Manager managing an RMS Engineering and Technology (E&T) organization supporting the programs within the IWSS Sensors / Effectors Integrated Engineering organization.
• This Manager will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate engineering processes, technical personnel, and design tools are applied and managed.
• Staffing responsibilities include the projection and planning of appropriate staffing levels, recruiting and selection of interns, contractors, college hires, and experienced professionals.
• This role oversees a very diverse and highly skilled set of engineers in E&T.
• The position will be responsible for program execution, driving technical and organizational strategy, instilling and maintaining engineering discipline, and enhancing employee experiences while focusing on functional management excellence.

Desired Skills

Broad background in systems engineering and with specific experience in Radar Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and / or Radar Integration and Test is desired. Ground Based Radar product experience is preferred.

Demonstrated interpersonal, team-building skills, strong work ethic, and self-motivation. Strong customer focus with a proven record of outstanding customer satisfaction. Strong oral and written communications skills.

Experience with other advanced SE / SW techniques such as Agile and MBSD is a plus, as is experience in several key domains including architecture, analysis, design, trade studies, integration, and test.

Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
