Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel ER RN to join a dynamic team at a hospital in Syracuse, NY! This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to utilize your critical thinking and assessment skills while providing exceptional care to patients in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities :

• Assess patients presenting to the emergency room, triage patients based on acuity, and prioritize care accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Float between pediatric and general emergency units as needed.
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including but not limited to EKGs, wound care, and IV placement.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC or other EMR systems.
