Contracts Administrator I

Overview

BCI's Dahlgren Division has an immediate opening for a full-time entry-level Contracts Administrator who will work as part of our contracts team. This is an entry level position and pay will be commensurate with the position requirements and not the experience of the applicant. Relocation is not available for this position.

Job Location : Dahlgren, VA (this is not a remote billet)

Telework : After 6 months with permission of supervisor

Job Start Date : Immediate hire

Shift : M-F 0800-1600

Responsibilities

• Cradle to grave contracting and supporting a variety of contracts; the team is not specialized.
• Prepare proposals or bids and review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
• Generate technical and financial monthly reports and any ad hoc reports requested.
• Budgeting and forecasting project funding based on tasking and labor requirements.
• Interface with technical leads on contract execution and prepare accurate invoices in accordance with contract directions.
• Multi-task, prioritize, work independently to meet deadlines, analyze data for reasonableness, and support multiple managers.
• Maintain attention to detail and understand how contracts administration supports the technical scope.
• Apply learned practices across contracts with different requirements and maintain a customer-service orientation; solve financial problems using business math and basic problem-solving.
