Job Description
Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities for ground-up healthcare and correctional facility projects. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain efficient workflow. Enforce strict compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Review drawings, plans, and specifications to anticipate and resolve field challenges. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager, design team, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals. Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation of site progress. Lead on-site meetings, inspections, and safety briefings to ensure smooth operations. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement on the job site.

The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience on ground-up healthcare or correctional facility construction projects. Deep understanding of construction sequencing, safety standards, and building systems in highly regulated environments. Proven ability to lead field teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver complex projects successfully. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or other construction management tools. Demonstrates a hands-on leadership style with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety. Builds strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members to ensure project success.
