Position Description : Customer Service Technician
The Customer Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of LayerZero’s Power Systems, Inc. This position involves hands-on service, technical support, and customer interaction, both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset.
Requirements : Primary Duties :
- Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment, including :
Static transfer switches
Power distribution unitsRemote power panelsProvide technical support to customers on-site and remotely via phone and emailMaintain accurate and timely service records in the LayerZero systemRespond to emergency service calls, including participation in the 24 / 7 support rotationTravel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada as requiredOccasional weekend or holiday work may be necessarySkills & Experience :
Experience servicing electrical power systemsStrong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret diagrams and schematicsFamiliarity with PC-based programming of printed circuit boardsKnowledge of electrical PPE and safety protocolsAssociate degree in an electrical discipline is preferredMilitary training in electronics or electrical systems is preferredWork Location :
Initial training conducted at LayerZero headquarters in Aurora, OhioField service performed at customer sites throughout the U.S. and CanadaWhat We Offer :
