This position will be working 2nd shift and receiving a 10% shift differential.
Job Requirements
- As Assembly Operator III, you will;
Preparing machines and equipment for daily use
Perform changeover and set-up functionsCommunicate with technician and supervisor any issues that may arise during operationsUse of inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation, and make necessary adjustments, understand gauging and visual inspection tooling, attention to detailed processesWork with team to troubleshoot, set up, assembly, and / or flow issuesPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standardsIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notification when defects are identifiedMaintain a safe work environment, perform daily hour by hour boards, 5S, autonomous maintenance checks, material issuing and all other forms of documentation with work performedTrain and be flexibility between jobs and equipment, depending on workload in areas\n
What your background should look like
Extensive experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with and ability to perform set-up operations, and handle change-over responsibilitiesExperience interacting with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot assembly machines or equipmentProficient with use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materialsProven record of using inspection data to make mechanical and program changes to achieve part specificationsRead, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately set up and assemble productsBasic computer navigation and utilization skillsAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to lift 50 lbsUnderstanding of GD&T is a plusThis position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $20.00 - $24.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
