Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, BLS (AHA), ARRT, and TMB certification for a hospital-based role in Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based setting performing radiology procedures for ambulatory and inpatient populations
  • Works under the supervision of a radiologist and licensed providers
  • Handles a variety of diagnostic imaging cases as ordered by physicians
  • Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM
  • Responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures while maintaining safety and infection control standards
  • Prepares patients and equipment, positions patients, and uses proper sterile technique for invasive procedures
  • Maintains imaging records and ensures adherence to department quality standards
  • Ability to explain procedures and establish rapport with patients and families
  • Black scrubs must be worn
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience required
  • Active Texas radiologic technologist license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification through AHA is mandatory
  • ARRT and TMB certifications are required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Flu vaccination is required during flu season with no exemptions allowed
