Senior Programmer Analyst

Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities Collaborates closely with the Director and all stakeholders as needed to plan, develop, test, and implement Advancement’s technology projects efficiently, effectively, and with focus on correctness (error and bug-free work), accuracy, speed, security, and adherence to ITS guidelines. Demonstrates preparedness to collect specifications for, develop, test, implement, and collaboratively manage technology deliverables including, but not limited to : CRM functionality, third-party software functionality, data repositories, data migrations, platform integrations, reports, dashboards, security enhancements, mobile and online functionality to support the Advancement division’s objectives. Proficiency is expected in relational databases (Oracle and / or Microsoft SQL Server) SQL programming and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). May also develop or modify APIs to support platform integrations and ensure functionality across the division. Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates a proactive approach to learning and understanding new data, with the ability to quickly comprehend, adapt to, and utilize new data sets for integration and reporting purposes. Exhibits strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously. Recognizes when to seek guidance or support to ensure effective tasks execution. Maintains a professional and collaborative attitude, willingly accepting instruction, feedback, and guidance, while also showing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Ensures that the environments and processes by which data are stored and managed for the Advancement division support its objectives effectively and efficiently, optimizes data integrity, safeguards against unauthorized access, and preserves data confidentiality. Duties & Responsibilities Provides professional and amicable guidedence to fellow Programmer Analysts, demonstrating senior-level expertise in the execution of all responsibilities. Actively assists team members in the development, testing, deployment, implementation, and overall management of technical deliverables for the division. Duties & Responsibilities Serves as the backup to the Director during absences to ensure : technology resources remain functioning and available; CRM and third-party security needs are prudently and judiciously addressed. Acts as Advancement’s technology liaison to ITS and external vendors, as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Remains knowledgeable and current of the latest news, recommendations, guides, best practices, product version releases, and technological advances regarding all relevant software, network solutions, cloud-based computing, web-based computing, and mobile platform solutions currently in use or being considered by the Advancement division, or associated with the fundraising, alumni relations, and higher-educational marketing and communication industries.
