job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s degree preferred Strong understanding of automotive systems, technologies and competitors Familiarity with the automotive industry and dealership operations (prior dealership experience a plus) Proficient in computer and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, AV setup, etc.) Confident public speaker with ability to engage groups of 20–30 people Skilled in communicating with dealership staff at all levels Able to manage group presentations in active dealership environments Excellent organizational and time management skills Passion for the automotive industry Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate and park a company vehicle at home (not for personal use) Frequent movement throughout dealership facilities Extended periods of sitting inside vehicles during travel and / or in-vehicle assessments Travel up to 75% via car and / or plane

Overview
Jackson Dawson is seeking a dynamic Automotive Product and Technology Trainer to deliver in-dealership training focused on both ICE and electric vehicle (EV) products. This role involves educating Sales Consultants on the various technologies, features, functions and benefits, assessing their product knowledge, and enhancing their presentation skills at select retail dealerships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive training on new ICE and EV products and technologies
- Provide insights on product features and competitive comparisons
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned dealerships
- Participate in ongoing trainer development sessions
- Complete weekly administrative tasks (e.g., time / expense reports, status updates)
- Perform other duties as needed
