Job Summary : As a Nursing Assistant, you will be a crucial caregiver for our residents during scheduled shifts, providing personalized nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your role is vital in ensuring age-appropriate care addressing both physical and psychological needs as outlined in individual care plans.
Your responsibilities will include :
Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressingMonitoring and recording vital signsProviding emotional support and personal careAssisting with mobility and exercise routines and ensuring proper transfer techniquesPreparing meals and creating a positive dining experienceDocumenting care and communicating any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staffSupporting wellness and recreational programsMaintaining cleanliness and organization in living areasQualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory)Minimum age of 16 years oldPrevious experience in long-term care preferredMust hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state laws or be enrolled in a training programWillingness to complete ongoing education and competency testing each yearJoin us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors in our community!
