HVAC Technician

Libertyville School District 70 is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support our facilities. The position is under the Director of Facilities and Operations, and is a full-time, 12-month, 260-day position. The schedule is Monday to Friday and the work is in-person. The benefit package includes 12 sick and 2 personal days, 10 vacation days, medical, dental and life insurance, and a 457 account contribution. Vision insurance and Flex plan are available options. Salary of $55,000 - $85,000 will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Qualifications :

• Ability to work with low and high voltage electrical boards and units;
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, general construction and maintenance;
• Knowledge of HVAC and HVAC controls;
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and BAS;
• Suitable candidates will have a general knowledge of all trades and be able to work without direct supervision.
