YOUR DAY AS A CIVIL ENGINEER - DESIGN ENGINEER

As an entry-level Civil Engineer - Design Engineer, you are a valued member of our team. Each day, you use your civil engineering training and your CADD software expertise to help us serve our clients with innovation and excellence. You love that your days are full of variety as you work on a number of different projects, actively participating in the development of design studies, reports, contract drawings, and estimates.

In addition, you research the county and state highway administration (SHA) databases to track down plats, deeds, and other records. You also perform fieldwork, take part in inspections, locate utilities, and verify topographical details. An avid learner, you keep up with current trends and methodologies to stay on top of your game. In your job, every day is different, and you thrive on helping us create functional and appealing designs that will serve our clients and our community well!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CIVIL ENGINEER - DESIGN ENGINEER

• BS degree in civil engineering
• Proficiency with CADD programs

Engineer-In-Training registration (EIT) is preferred. Are you attentive to detail and precise in your CADD designs? Do you have excellent organizational skills and a knack for managing multiple tasks? Are you creative and innovative in your problem-solving? Do you possess excellent critical thinking abilities?
