Role & Responsibilit y :
Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- Maintain production equipment to maximize operating performance and assist with maintaining electrical spare parts’ inventory levels.
- Perform repairs on equipment to restore them to proper and safe work condition.
- Perform installation, set up, modification and relocation of equipment to accommodate or improve production requirements.
- Read / write electrical and electronic schematics / diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Ensure the production schedule is not jeopardized due to machine breakdown, or unsafe operating conditions and inform Maintenance Manager about changes in electric circuits and update original diagrams.
- Always follow LOCK OUT / TAG OUT procedure on unsafe machines / machines being serviced.
- Adhere to work orders, preventive / predictive maintenance systems by filling in required forms and organize workplace to comply with housekeeping requirements.
- Perform preventative / predictive maintenance to all production equipment as required.
- Complete electrical and mechanical projects based on direction given from Maintenance Supervisor as required by government regulation.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
- Initiate and complete all other jobs, projects and special assignments as directed by Maintenance Supervisor
- Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and recommend measures to improve health and safety.
- Repair and replace electrical / hydraulic / pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls and valves.
Skills & Experience :
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
High School Diploma Or GED.Minimum 3 years of experience in related role.A certificate from technical trade school, military experience in lieu of related subject preferred.3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing / industrial environment with multiple priorities preferred.Must be team orientated.High degree of attention to detail, precision and follow through.Willing and able to a rotating shift.Be able to conceive and manage small projects.
