In this role, you will be assessing patients' medical conditions, maintaining patients' comfort during the final stages of life, and providing their loved ones with guidance and support.\n\nAn accomplished Hospice Registered Nurse will be someone who's dedicated to terminally ill patients receiving exceptional end-of-life support.\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Collaborating on terminally ill patients' care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and nursing assistants.\n
• Preparing and adjusting patient care plans as needed.\n
• Frequently visiting patients to monitor vital signs and physical comfort levels.\n
• Performing prescribed treatments and administering pain management medications.\n
• Providing loved ones and primary caregivers with patient care information, end-of-life education, and emotional support.\n
• Maintaining and updating medical charts, patient files, and health records.\n
• Notifying attending physicians, hospice staff members, and family members of patients' deaths when they occur.\n
• Advising grieving family members on coping techniques, counseling services, and available community resources.\n\nJob Benefits : \n

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or anticipated graduation within 4 months of hire date. - Required\n
• RN license from Michigan - Required\n
• BLS Certification - Required\n
• 2 years of RN experience - Required\n
• Hospice experience - Required\n
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.\n
