Key Responsibilities
Lead the adaptation and improvement of PLC / HMI control systems already in use with customers.
Contribute to new product initiatives by applying controls and automation expertise.
Deliver system updates, optimise performance, and align functionality with client requirements.
Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams to provide technical support
Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop skills within the team.
Provide hands-on assistance for customer trials, PLC setups, troubleshooting, and field support
Key Requirements
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
Strong experience in PLC & HMI programming and industrial automation.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet, SNMP).
Sound understanding of control theory (e.g. PID controllers, feedback loops).
Knowledge of hardware such as PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
Awareness of compliance and safety standards (IEC, ISO, UL, ASHRAE).
Experience within data centre or related sectors is beneficial but not essential.
