Security Officer - Access Control - Full Time
As a Security Officer supporting access control in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment for all employees and visitors. This is a driving post, where you may be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle.

Sunday : 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help deter unauthorized entry.Follow established security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site management.Provide customer service by assisting individuals at access points and responding to inquiries regarding entry and exit protocols.Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity encountered during access control duties.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters when necessary according to site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment, as required by site procedures.Participate in emergency response activities as needed, following applicable protocols and instructions.Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, visitor entries, and any incidents in accordance with Allied Universal standards.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
