Position Summary
DEFINITION :
Under supervision of the appropriate administrator, the incumbent will work as part of the Health and Wellness Services medical office team performing clinical, technical, and clerical duties to meet the goal of providing primary health care for students. The incumbent will perform duties within their scope of practice and abide by any and all laws and regulations imposed on their license / certification.; and value and promote the mission and vision of the college.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS :
The incumbent, under limited supervision, will assist in front office duties, which include answering the phones, making appointments, filing and medical records maintenance. This assignment of duties will require a broader knowledge of the organizational unit, which includes a substantial amount of administrative detail and non-routine work.

Minimum Qualifications
Education / Experience :
An equivalent to a high school diploma, certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant program or currently enrolled in medical assisting program.
Licenses and Certifications :
Requirement to be certificated in CPR and Automated External Defibrillator ( AED)
First Aid Training

The desired start date is November 2025. This is a part-time, 19-hour, classified, 10-month position.
Work Schedule : Wednesday & Thursday, 8 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. and Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. - 1 : 00 p.m.
