Description :
Candidate will be able to work 100% remote.
Looking to hire a strong COBOL Programmer for all development and maintenance activities required to maintain mainframe application programs.
Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of extensive batch COBOL programming experience on mainframe applications; At least 5 years working with CICS, DB2, VSAM and JCL; Strong Testing / Troubleshooting abilities; Great communication skills.
The successful candidates must possess :
o A minimum of five years extensive batch COBOL programming experience on
mainframe applications.
o A minimum of five years' experience of CICS, DB2, VSAM and JCL
o Strong testing skills
o Strong troubleshooting skills
o knowledge of SAS and Easytrieve programming languages a plus
o A minimum of five years of full project life cycle experience.
Responsibilities include :
o Systems analysis and design, programming, implementation and support.
o Full scale programming, project management and user documentation.
o Working with technical and application support staff to identify / resolve problems.
o Maintaining the change management process for all user and system / application
updates.

part of a team with minimum supervision in a rapidly changing environment.
