Data Engineer | About You

As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for optimizing and maintaining backend data systems to ensure high performance and scalability. You solve complex challenges such as query optimization and database schema restructuring to improve efficiency. You collaborate closely with analytics and infrastructure teams to support real-time data processing and ETL pipeline development. You maintain and enhance automation frameworks that streamline infrastructure and data workflows. You play a key role in planning and evolving data architecture toward a modern data warehousing strategy.

Data Engineer | Day-to-Day

• Optimize database schemas, including joins, indexes, and normalization, to improve query performance.
• Analyze and resolve inefficient Tableau-generated queries that impact system performance.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for real-time data synchronization using tools like Debezium and Postgres.
• Manage time zone logic within database and application layers to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain and enhance infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Tableau APIs.
• Collaborate on long-term data architecture planning, including exploring and designing data warehouse solutions.
