Description

The Pharmacy Data Analyst is an integral member of the GBS Pharmacy Benefit Consulting team. The role of the Analyst is to provide internal and external clients with timely, accurate analytics, proactive consultation, and decision support information related to pharmacy benefits. Pharmacy benefit consulting is a core GBS service offering, and this position is instrumental to the success and focus of our mission to deliver unparalleled advice and service to our clients. Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages data, prepares and peer reviews reports, performs ad-hoc analysis, and provides assistance with rate decisions.
• Review and present pharmacy analytics deliverables in client facing meetings (in person and / or virtual)
• Possesses / acquires knowledge of the local healthcare marketplace, carriers, TPAs, PBMs.
• Provide analytics and organizational support for pharmacy benefit procurement and market check RFPS-leading all steps of the process from data collection to analysis to final project deliverables.
• Understands and utilizes company specific software systems.
• Support GBS Pharmacy strategic and service initiatives- to include interactions with plan sponsor representatives and plan members.
• Assists with team projects and initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
