UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies . We are looking for qualified OTR Solo Drivers $0.55 CPM per mile & $30.00 per hour on duty not driving . $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE! Paid in 2 installments after 90 and 180 days

As a Company Driver For UNIS Transportation, you will transport Non- Hazardous freight with consistent volumes picking up and delivering to our rapidly expanding nationwide network of terminals.

Purpose and Scope :

OTR Class A Solo Drivers truck drivers operate commercial vehicles over-the-road (OTR), meaning they drive long distances across states or even across the country.

Responsibilities :

• Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing the operation of commercial vehicles, including hours-of-service regulations, weight limits, and safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods, addressing any customer concerns or inquiries professionally.
• Drive Class A commercial vehicles over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Work in tandem with another driver as part of a driving team. Coordinate driving schedules to ensure continuous operation of the vehicle, with one driver resting while the other drives.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the truck and trailer, ensuring that they are in proper working condition before and after each trip.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers, fleet managers, and other team members to provide updates on delivery progress, traffic conditions, and any issues encountered during the trip.
