Application Support Engineer (Onsite)

Overview

BAE Systems is currently seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our integrated Operations & Sustainment (O&S) team located in our Arnold MS site. This role will provide 24x7 mission support to our customer and will interface with engineering resources located at other facilities. The Application Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operation of customer applications and monitoring / investigation of segment interfaces. Under the direction of the O&S Site Lead, this role will work with on-site database and system administration support personnel to convey and investigate system anomalies, and will escalate operational issues as needed with vendor, factory, on-site, and east coast SMEs.

This role provides rotating site support (7x24) on a Panama schedule to ensure system issues are identified and resolved, minimising operational impacts. Shift work is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor customer applications; investigate segment interfaces and system anomalies
• Coordinate with on-site database and system administration support personnel; convey and investigate issues
• Escalate operational issues with vendor, factory, on-site, and SME resources as required
• Provide 24x7 rotating site support to maintain system availability

Week 1 : Mon–Sun, 7pm–7am; Week 2 : Off days as scheduled. Shift pattern alternates to support 24x7 operations.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $86,460 - $146,982

Please note : This range is based on market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by factors including but not limited to business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
