Description :

We are looking for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team.

The nurse will work night shifts, either 4x12 or 3x12 hours.

The patient-to-nurse ratio will be 3 : 1, with one ICU patient and two step-down patients.

Weekends are a requirement, either every weekend or every other weekend.

The role may involve floating within scope to meet facility needs.

Additional skills and experience are required in critical care environments.

Interdisciplinary support will be available from various teams.

The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Common patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, ODD, DKA, respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID-19, and influenza.

Special procedures may include bedside central line placement, bedside intubation, and bedside chest tube placement.

Candidates must be experienced and self-sufficient.

References from previous managers or charge nurses within the past two years are necessary.
